In 2024, I was an AI intern at Singapore’s government agency IMDA that develops and regulates the country’s infocomm and media sectors. I worked on a curriculum for AI and Ethics, and here is a related series of short tutorials for IMDA’s AI Verify Foundation.

In 2022, I developed an “Ethics of AI” workshop to empower youth to manage the risks of AI and manage its benefits for society.

I delivered the workshop to over 200 girls for She Loves Tech, the world’s largest tech accelerator for women with a presence in more than 75 countries, as well as at the National University of Singapore and online as well. I also became the first Youth Ambassador for She Loves Tech in 2023.

Ethical Coders Book Club

In 2019, I founded Ethical Coders, a youth club that explores and encourages debate through workshops and a book club. Our mission is to inspire tech that is impactful and ethical.

In partnership with Singapore’s iconic ArtScience Museum, the Ethical Coders book club fosters conversations and debates through sci-fi books, film screenings and interviews.

We’ve discussed books such as The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu, Tin by Pádraig Kenny, Klara and The Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro, Frank Herbert's classic Dune, and Scythe by Neal Shusterman.
